U.S. News & World Report recently ranked Kingston Elementary and Old Donation School as the No. 1 elementary and middle schools in Virginia. Old Donation School, which has students in grades two through eight and is the home of the Edward E. Brickell Academy for Advanced Academics & Arts, was also ranked as the No. 2 elementary school in the state.
We are pleased to have you as a part of our school family. John B. Dey continues to embrace the adventure of learning through 21st century methodologies and innovations allowing each student to experience high levels of critical thinking and problem solving. In fact, over the past three years, we have received 13 Educational Innovation grants from the Virginia Beach Education Foundation totaling more $15,000. These grants focused on science, technology, engineering, math, and literacy.
